About Offline Journal
Offline Journal is a printed document of contemporary photography in, from and of Wales - a country rich in photographic history and talent.
First published in late 2018, each issue of Offline Journal appears in limited-edition printed form as the only document covering contemporary photography across Wales. Content from the printed Journals does not appear online currently.
Created to bring new photography and writing on photography from Wales to the fore, Offline remains the only printed publication in Wales seeking to encourage more discussion and critique amongst increasingly diverse and visually-literate audiences. and celebrate talent working in multiple genres of photography and communities across Wales.
The Journal and its supplements are edited and published in Wales by Brian Carroll, a graphic designer, videographer and co-founder of Ffoton Wales – the first and longest-running (free to listen) photography Podcast from Wales featuring in-depth discussions with talented photographers.
